Action Inc.’s Energy Services Program is designed to save you money on your energy bills, lower your housing costs, and keep you comfortable in your home year-round. Our services are completely cost-free from start to finish and include Weatherization, Heating System Repairs and Replacements, and New Appliances.

Our History
Action Inc. is a nonprofit organization and Community Action Agency that was founded in 1965 as part of President Lyndon B. Johnson’s War on Poverty. We are a member of the Community Action Partnership, a nationwide network of more than 1,000 similar agencies that are dedicated to helping people in need and eliminating poverty in the United States.
Action Inc. has been a safety net for our community for nearly 60 years. We provide a broad range of services including energy efficiency and fuel assistance, housing assistance and homelessness prevention, job training and education, affordable housing, and case management. We are responsive to our community’s needs, developing new programs and services when new needs arise. We are dedicated to providing pathways to opportunity, and we advocate locally and nationally for policies that will advance and strengthen our community.
