We Help Renters
Our Energy Services program helps eligible renters save money by lowering your utility bills and making your home more energy efficient – at no cost to you or your landlord.
The services Action Inc. provides will be determined at the initial Energy Assessment and may include Weatherization Services, Heating System Repairs and Replacements, and/or New Appliances.
Our services are available to renters living in buildings with anywhere from one to four units. If you are a tenant living in a multi-family building of five or more units, we encourage you to check out National Grid’s Multi-Family Program.
Renter Eligibility Guidelines
You must live within one of our service areas:
- Amesbury, Beverly, Boxford, Danvers, Essex, Georgetown, Gloucester, Groveland, Hamilton, Haverhill, Ipswich, Lynn, Lynnfield, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Marblehead, Merrimac, Middleton, Nahant, Newbury, Newburyport, Peabody, Rockport, Rowley, Salem, Salisbury, Saugus, Swampscott, Topsfield, Wakefield, Wenham, West Newbury.
AND you must have a signed tenant/landlord agreement.

AND you must EITHER receive Fuel Assistance OR the National Grid Discount Rate.
